52 Week Project – A Day in the Life…

Get Better at Blogging!  (By “get better” I mean actually start doing it).

That was one of my Business New Year’s Resolutions for 2014!  In an effort to pick up my camera more around my own home, I have joined a 52 week project with the Beautiful Beasties Network (a network for pet photographers).  I hope to participate as often as possible and challenge myself to shoot things *ahem* photograph life, more particularly, MY LIFE.  My pets, My Child, My Husband and MYself.  I spend a great deal of my time photographing my wonderful clients and editing their images and making sure they have wonderful art work to display in their homes and to share with family and friends.  However, my son is now 7 months old and I have taken an overwhelming amount of photos of him since he was born but guess how many I have on my walls?  That’s right, Zero.  Bad mom award.

This week’s theme is: A Day in the Life….  and boy what a life it is.

If you aren’t familiar with them already via FB, meet:  Carter (my son).  Eddie (9 yr old Border Collie).  & Ricco (3 year old Mutt)

Ricco and Carter and Best Pals.  Ricco is normally about a “lick” away.  I’m fairly certain their bond truly blossomed when Carter started eating baby food….  And since baby food typically spreads to about a 3ft radius of Carter when he eats, Ricco doesn’t miss a drop…

Meanwhile, Eddie spends the majority of his days, reminiscing  about the first six year of his life that he spent as my ONLY child…  He also throws out a good “mean mugg” from time to time just to let me know he’s still bitter about it all…
